Dallas police investigate homicide of man found shot Friday morning

Police are investigating a homicide of a man who was found shot Friday morning, the Dallas Police Department announced in a news release Saturday.

Police responded to a call for service at around 8:40 a.m. Friday at a rooftop in the 200 block of West 10 Street.

When officers arrived, they found a man shot, according to the release.

Dallas Fire Rescue responded. The man died at the location.

The victim’s identity will be determined by the Dallas County Medical Examiner’s Office, police said in the release.

This is an ongoing investigation.
