Lakers News: How To Watch Team USA, Austin Reaves Vs Team Spain Today

Following their 92-62 blowout of a Luka Doncic-less Team Slovenia on Saturday, Team USA is set to do battle again right away today, where it will strive to fend off the only team in the impending FIBA World Cup tournament seeded above it: Team Spain.

Los Angeles Lakers starting shooting guard Austin Reaves enjoyed a solid first warm-up game yesterday, chipping in 10 points, five rebounds and four assists off the bench for Team USA.

The matchup will tip off on Fox at 12:30 p.m. PT, with Bill Raftery supplying commentary and Kevin Kugler handling play-by-play duties, USA Basketball announced in a press statement.

Team Spain is actually seeded ahead of Team USA as the top overall tournament seed.

This is a "friendly" warm-up exhibition game, meaning the ultimate result won't impact the tournament today.

Although now without the services of former Lakers big men Pau and Marc Gasol, Team Spain remains a tough out. The club boasts a whopping seven players with some level of NBA experience: former Oklahoma City Thunder small forward Alex Abrines; current Memphis Grizzlies power forward/center Santi Aldama; ex-Portland Trail Blazers combo forward Victor Claver; former Portland Trail Blazers wing Rudy Fernandez (though there was no overlap between Fernandez and Claver); Oklahoma City Thunder power forward/center Usman Garuba; journeyman NBA powr forward/"Hustle" star Juancho Hernangomez; and his brother Willy, himself a well-traveled NBA center.

Ricky Rubio was also on the roster heading into the summer, but is stepping away from the game to concentrate on improving his mental health.
